“His words and vocals are reminiscent of Brett Dennen, from the idealism and social
commentary to the balladeer crooning and wide tonal range.” – Julien’s Journal

River is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Dubuque, Iowa who likes to bend genres in his music. Any given tune might contain elements of folk, rootsy-rock, americana, pop, hip-hop, blues, and more… Fans often compare his songwriting to artists like Jackson Browne and John Prine.

After wintering in NOLA, it’s nearly time for River to hit the road for a tour of the upper Midwest. This farewell performance will be an intimate opportunity to experience River’s grooves and lyricism with other good humans in the vibey setting of Alombrados Oasis O.T.O.

Reecy Pontiff music (New Orleans, LA)

Reecy Pontiff got her professional start playing smutty ukulele songs in New Orleans burlesque shows. Half gypsy, half Timelord, Reecy has lived in seven time zones and wowed audiences with her brand of southern-fried vaudeville on three continents.

Her introspective songs will tear your heart in two. Her comedic songs will have you screaming along.
